I am equally enjoying NPR’s commentary by various experts that all of them are incapable, unqualified, terrible, disastrous etc etc. I can only have so much fun. Looking at the Age this morning there is the usual drivel about Trump, although there are no by lines anymore. Surely I don’t have that much influence? Farrah Tomazin’s name is nowhere to be seen. I’m pretty sure she wrote at least one of these articles. Probably the one about Matt Gaetz being nominated for Attorney General. Normally everything is behind a paywall, but clicking on the story today reveals the author.

Years ago I sent Allan an email. I was staying at a hotel which overlooked the giant hole where the World Trade Center used to be. I can’t remember what I said, but Allan read it over the air. It was lovely to hear it. A few years before that I got to ride in the 2UE news chopper one morning as Jen the traffic lady sent in her reports to Allan back in the studio. There’s nothing quite like hovering right over the Sydney Harbor Bridge during the morning commute on a beautiful morning, listening to the dulcet tones of AJ.
