I was reading a New Yorker opinion piece this morning in which the author was talking about invoking the 25th amendment. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what that is, the 25th Amendment, proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation. The New Yorker article was from February 27, 2017, barely a month after he had been inaugurated. This Trump is gonna destroy democracy thing has been running at full steam from day one.

The irony now is that people are starting to say that about Joe. A lot of people think they have a legimate point. There is another debate in September. Joe’s going to ace it this time.
