They’ve finally

spotted Kate Middleton visiting a farm shop on the weekend. The Daily Mail published a picture that a member of the public had taken of her with Prince William. It’s really her…or is it? Is that even William?

While not quite believable, it was an improvement on yesterday’s Mail story which showed a butcher’s shop meat display. Apparently this was the exact same display case where Kate had bought her meat on her “outing”. This is journalism at it’s finest. Wait a minute, on closer inspection, the meat photo seems to have been supplied by the butcher shop itself. One call to the butcher’s themselves might have cleared up the mystery. Was she in your shop or not? The Daily Mail could have asked them, but that was too hard. We’ll just have to accept that Kate doesn’t really look like herself any more, if we accept that the latest picture is actually her.

It’s just another installment in clown world for sure. I shouldn’t bother with this nonsense, but I’m bored with the current run of the mill scandals and dystopian hellscape that’s a feature of daily life. The Daily Mail is riddled with clickbait stories and it’s hard to stop reading them sometimes. Another one was that bunch of Russian news sites and their associated social media accounts reported earlier today that King Charles had died aged 75 as a result of cancer complications.

I don’t care much for the British Monarchy myself, in fact that’s what I told Associated Press when I was asked 23 years ago why I was coming to live in America. They didn’t get a lot of Australians wanting to emigrate to the US back then, and they probably still don’t. It (Australia) is the greatest country TM in the world after all. When I went to NYC in 2006 to do the naturalization test they told me that the ceremony that I was going to attend was a special event. It was to be at Federal Hall where George Washington was sworn in as the first president of the United States. The next day I got a call from an AP reporter who asked me why I wanted to become a US citizen. I said I believed in equality not monarchy. I still do.

WTF, as a legal immigrant I love Texas even more now than I already did.

That’s all for today.

Hear me play discordant chords until Friday.
