It’s Debate day, but I talked about it yesterday. I think whatever I said will happen will happen, no point in adding more. We’ll have to wait and see. I got a text from a long lost friend on Tuesday. I haven’t spoken to this cat for a couple of years. In fact I had to look at the old phone I had before this one to find out how long ago it was. In fact it was December 2019, almost five years ago. I’ve almost forgotten why it was we stopped communicating. It might have been my fault. I really can rub some people up the wrong way without really being aware of it.
It’s never my intention to do that. (not much) I want to rub people up the right way, but maybe not literally if they are men. I dunno man, I’m glad my friend got back in contact with me, there aren’t too many people you can relate to in this world any more. He’s a really really good bass player too. Nevertheless, if anyone is waiting for me to restart the conversation, hell will probably freeze over first. I’ll quote one of my own songs, “Now, you are so sleepy, sittin’ at home. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently announced a national recall of 140 brands of coffee products due to the potential presence of Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium that can produce a fatal neurotoxin. The toxin, if ingested, can cause a rare form of food poison with symptoms that include general weakness, dizziness, double-vision, trouble speaking or swallowing, difficulty breathing, and constipation.
Symptoms can appear from six hours to two weeks after someone eats food containing botulinum toxin. link I grind my own beans, so it’s unlikely this will affect me at all. My one coffee a day is a cafe latte, which is about all I need. Sometimes I’ll make an iced coffee, but only when the weather’s really hot. I don’t think I’ve missed out on a cafe latte for one day in the 20 plus years I’ve lived here. I don’t drink drip coffee although it can be good if the coffee is good.
There’s so much going on today that I’m talking about coffee now. There was a brief but violent (like some of my relationships) storm last night. The power went out for the first time in about 5 years. It will be back on at 12.30 am they said. It came back on at about 2 am.

Earlier this month, after Boeing finally launched its new spacecraft, designed to deliver astronauts and cargo to and from the International Space Station.The launch went ahead on June 5, with a helium leak that they knew about at the time. Two astronauts Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Sunita ‘Suni’ Williams were sent into orbit. The mission was meant to last eight days, but almost three weeks later, the pair are still on the space station – and no one knows when they’ll come home.
That’s fucked up. Nasa has rescheduled the six-hour return journey three times. There is currently no official scheduled return, although sources suggested the target is July 6. Too bad if you get claustrophobia. Better than homophobia probably. Has anyone had sex in space, with anyone other than themselves? Probably not. All that monitoring back on earth would reveal abnormal heart rate and other things. Nobody wants spoof flying around inside the space shuttle do they?
After saying that, you can see I’m quite bored, so I’m gonna pull the plug on this today, before I say more stupid stuff. I spent most of yesterday morning plugging everything back in, in the music room. It was 95 deg outside. It’s 20 deg cooler today.
