I was amused to read the news that the Australian PM has organized a gun buy back program in the wake of the recent Bondi beach events. I am genuinely puzzled as to how the two things are related? This only further reinforces the idea that the people governing that place have no clue what they’re doing.
I’m interested to know the reasoning behind it but not surprised at all that it’s happening. When you fail to address the actual problem, don’t be surprised if the same things keep happening. WTF does a gun buyback have to do with Muslim extremism and/or the problems that arise from certain people pushing mass immigration from third world countries and then expecting everything to remain the same?
A lot of people aren’t happy about what the government is doing.

But it’s the Christmas season so I’d rather focus on pleasant things than Antipodean stupidity and ignorance. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Australia at all. It’s the people running it, the progressive media, and the minority tribes of mentally ill people who are hell bent on making it intolerable for the decent people most of whom still live there. I was able to walk away. Most people can’t or don’t want to.

On the NY Post this morning they have finally gotten over their obsession with the Reiner tragedy. Actually they haven’t, it’s just moved further down the front page. It’s all death and destruction still, as always most of the time. “If it bleeds, it leads” etc etc. The latest breathtaking update came via TMZ, “In new surveillance footage from a local business on the Santa Monica Pier, Nick was seen making his way toward the Pierside Santa Monica on Sunday around 4:10 a.m.The 32-year-old moved at a somewhat slow pace, according to the video obtained by TMZ.” Fascinating…

Today I’m posting a song from Tuesday’s hang out. It was song that I wasn’t particularly interested in playing that day, but it turned out pretty good. Sometimes when you play something a little differently, you are surprised with the results. Anyway, you can decide. If anything interesting happens later on I will be sure to update this.
