Oh sure, it’s all Kum By Ya this morning but there are thousands of people whose homes have been destroyed after Israel went on an urban renewal rampage over the last two years. Do you think they really want all those people back in Gaza? Do you think that the people who lived in Gaza are ever going to want to be relocated to somewhere else? Let’s be realistic here.
I say enjoy the fleeting party because the hard part is yet to come. I hope I’m proven wrong. Elsewhere, “a mass shooting at a crowded family-friendly restaurant in South Carolina left four people dead and at least 20 customers injured, according to police.” We’ll always have conflict as long as we fail to address reality. Some groups of individuals are prone to this behavior, and to ignore that fact ensures that it will continue.

I just did a survey that APRA sent me. APRA is the Australian Performing Rights Association that collects songwrriting royalties on behalf of songwriters and musicians like me. I earn about $1.50 a year from songwriting, for what it’s worth. I told them that their organization is corroded by woke, DEI bullshit and even gave them my name when they asked for it so they could follow up with me about my concerns. I’m not holding my breath for a reply.
Only three million more payments like these and I can buy my first yacht!
Meanwhile, on my Youtube page, the latest video has jumped to the enormous total of 13 views. Maybe people aren’t digging the new line up? I don’t know. Don’t care.
We are in the middle of a tropical storm here, although it has calmed down for the moment. Last night I had to turn the boiler on for the first time this year. I turned it off in the spring and fortunately it came back on again last night. It’s always tricky lighting the pilot light. Last year I had to replace it. Steve the guy who fixes difficult things around here, was on hand to do the actual replacing. My neighbor told me that Steve was thinking of having heart surgery. She was very worried because the last guy who did that didn’t come back from the hospital alive. Don’t do it Steve!
