You’ve heard of the tech bubble, well welcome to the AI bubble. …….Ah, I don’t wanna talk about it. The roads around here are shit, and my roof leaks, neither of which AI can fix. A lot of this AI hype in my opinion, is a scam. We’ll see how it plays out, but not before the usual suspects have made their money on it, that much you can rely on.

Weaselry
I’ve got a slight headache, and I have to do stuff. Last night as I was driving down my street I saw a bunch of traffic cones all along the curb. Surprise, surprise at approximately midday, as I am writing this I can hear trucks pulling up outside, disgorging Film and TV weaselry. In the past they have put notices in the mailboxes notifying those who need to park their car in the street that they will have to make other arrangements. Now they don’t bother, they just take over half the street for several blocks, and fuck you.
Tomorrow the Far Out Band with gather here at the Fortress for another music summit. As long as Pat Sharkey’s GF doesn’t decide that she needs a day out we should be good. I can hear these knuckleheads yelling at one another outside. Everyone must think that making movies and TV shows is akin to brain surgery or something, they amount of bowing and scraping from city officials that goes along with this stuff. It’s an inconvenience for the people who live here, and they get no compensation at all. It’s usually fairly quiet, but now some truck drivers are bellowing at each other outside my window.
If they start shooting something tomorrow, my band will be playing quite loud. It probably won’t affect them, but the “art” that I’m doing is just as important as whatever the communist fuckery they’re concocting for the sheeple to consume. If they don’t like it, they can move.
