Thursday already, and I’ve been blasting the A/C all week. I was reading about Aussie comedian John Blackman who died on Tuesday after being sick for quite a while. I hate the phrase “a long battle with”. The “battle” is always lost. Anyhoo, I worked at 9 during the “Hey Hey” era, although I didn’t work on that show. I was on the show pretending to play saxophone in Stephen Cumming’s band once….. I didn’t know John Blackman personally, but sometimes I found him funny. Reading his obituary is depressing though. Not because he’s dead. That’s obvious. It’s the PC corrected bullshit that they feel they have to inject into it. A blokier, more boisterous time? What are we in now then? A ghey, sheila-ish, subdued landscape perhaps? For the record, I still think all those “questionable” gags are fine if they make me laugh. Yesterday I got an email from the NSW Government, Service NSW. It was letting me know that I could claim back money I had paid for tolls. It said I could “claim a cash rebate on my tolls with a new $60 weekly cap. I have no idea why they are doing this, other than to announce to the new influx of government scammers from India that here was another opportunity to dip into the public purse. Why else would they show a picture of what looks to be an Indian in the email? They’re not a majority yet are they? Maybe that’s the plan.

“Build Back Better” that was the mantra in 2020. This appears to be how they’re doing it. Flooding white countries with non whites from impoverished countries.
The retard that heads the UN has called for the banning of fossil fuel ads. Somebody needs to tell this asshole that there are no such thing as “fossil fuels”. Oil, coal and gas are Abiotic which means they are produced by the earth. In other words, they are “renewables”. These are scientific facts, well documented. This isn’t about fossil fuels though. This is about paying protection money for something that doesn’t exist, and bleeding and weakening the west. The BBC, the ABC, probably Canadian media, CNN etc etc are all reporting this garbage like it’s a legitimate argument. The contempt I have for the mainstream media couldn’t get any greater at this point. How do these clowns get up in the morning and go to work knowing that this is just propaganda? If they actually believe it, they have no business reading the news.
UN Secretary General António Guterres called coal, oil and gas corporations the “godfathers of climate chaos” who had distorted the truth and deceived the public for decades”. Just how did they do that Antonio? There is no proof offered up, just alarmist language as usual. “Just as tobacco advertising was banned because of the threat to health, the same should now apply to fossil fuels, he said.” This guy must be an idiot, or at least thinks everyone else is.
He’s a crook and a shakedown artist. If anyone distorts the truth, it’s him. That’s the Alinksy way though. Accuse the opposition of what you’re doing. Joe Biden and the Democrats do it all day long.

Back to Blackman, one of his most famous characters was a head on a stick called Dickie Knee. Dickie would pop up randomly during the show with quick one-liners and witticisms. Dickie was quite funny at times. The stick with the head on it, was held up in front of the desk by one of the floor crew, a guy named Krystal. (I think with a K, not sure) I actually don’t know what his real name was, but he was most probably gay. (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
Anyway, I had this band at the time called the Armchairs, and we used to do a Rolf Harris song called Sun Arise. I’ll post the song below so you’ll know what I’m talking about. For some reason, I’m not quite sure how it happened, Krystal came along to one of our shows bringing a smoke machine which he had borrowed from Channel 9. Today you can buy a smoke machine for about $100, but back in the 80’s only theaters, movie production houses and TV stations could afford them. They were large and heavy too.
I don’t know where Krystal is today. I hope he’s doing fine. Thanks to him, the audience at an obscure pub in Richmond one Tuesday night got to experience Sun Arise with all the glory of a rising morning mist. It was quite spectacular. Thanks K. You rule!
